Alessandro Renica tasks Victor Osimhen to wmbrace discipline under Antonio Conte

Former Napoli defender Alessandro Renica has advised Victor Osimhen to reconsider his desire to leave the club this summer and focus on developing discipline under new manager Antonio Conte.
Despite leading Napoli to Serie A glory and being handed a new contract with a €130 million exit clause, Osimhen has expressed a strong intention to move on.
Renica noted that Osimhen’s disciplinary issues, including a recent online altercation with former Super Eagles coach Finidi George, could benefit from Conte’s authoritative management style.
In a recent interview with Radio Punto Zero during Napoli Magazine Live, Renica emphasized that Conte’s disciplined approach could help Osimhen address these issues.
“Are we aiming for the Scudetto? I don’t know, it’s premature to talk about the Scudetto, we need to see when the squad will be defined, but with what Conte will have at his disposal, I think he will be able to get the most out of it,” Renica said.
“Osimhen? Conte’s authority can do him good, given that he is a bit undisciplined. If he were to stay, it would be a great championship with Conte. In any case, we are talking about a top player.”
Renica’s comments suggest that staying at Napoli and working under Conte could help Osimhen refine his discipline and further enhance his career, potentially leading to even greater success in the future.
