Benjamin Tanimu: Nigerian defender joins English Football League club

Crawley Town FC have announced the signing of fast rising Nigerian defender, Benjamin Tanimu, Nigeriafootball.ng reports. 

Tanimu joined the English League One club from Tanzania side, Singida Black Stars for an undisclosed fee, signing a two-year contract.

The Benin City born Tanimu has had his football gaining significant momentum in recent years.

He began playing for Insurance FC in Benin City before catching the attention of the Nigerian national team, earning several caps.

Tanimu will join Crawley Town in the coming weeks, leaving behind Tanzanian Premier League side Singida Black Stars.
