Chiamaka Nnadozie helps Paris hold Hacken with fifth Champions League penalty save

Nigeria goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie was the heroine as she saved another penalty to help her French side, Paris FC to a 0-0 draw with Swedish outfit, BK Hacken in the group stage of the 2023/2024 UEFA Women’s Champions League.

The former Rivers Angels shotstopper denied Kafaji Rasul Rosa from a 21st-minute penalty spot.

In all, inaugural Africa Goalkeeper of the Year made five saves during the matchday five games of the Champions League encounter.

The draw ensured that Paris FC occupied the third position with seven points.

The Super Falcon has played a pivotal role in helping her side reach the group stage of the Champions League.

She saved penalties against Arsenal FC women and Wolfsburg during the Champions League qualifiers as the capital team stunned the semi-finalists from the previous season.

At the last FIFA Women’s World Cup, she saved a penalty from retired Canadian captain, Christine Sinclair.

To reach the quarterfinal stage, Paris will be counting on Nnadozie heroics to upset Chelsea on January 30.
