Flying Eagles land in Abidjan for friendly matches against Young Elephants

Nigeria’s U20 boys, the Flying Eagles, arrived in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on Tuesday morning ahead of two friendly matches against the Young Elephants.
Led by Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi, a member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Executive, the delegation includes 21 players selected by Coach Aliyu Zubairu.
The team boasts talented players, including captain Daniel Bameyi, goalkeeper Ifeanyi Harcourt, defender Haruna Aliyu, midfielder Cletus Simon, and forwards Clinton Japhet and Olalekan Sulaiman Alabi.
The Flying Eagles, seven-time African champions, will face the Young Elephants at the Stade Félix Houphouët Boigny in Abidjan on Wednesday at 3:30 pm CIV time (4:30 pm Nigeria time). The two teams will clash again on Friday at the same venue and time.
