“I can’t believe we lost at home” – Babaganaru livid over Akwa United loss to Sunshine

Akwa United head coach Mohammed Babaganaru is still in awe after seeing his side losing 2-1 at home to Sunshine Stars on Saturday.
The Promise Keepers could not rescue any point from the Matchday Four of Nigeria Premier Football League, (NPFL) encounter decided at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
Babaganaru who labeled the defeat – their first in the new season – as disappointing and unbelievable noted that the result was not a good reflection of his team’s performance.
“I can’t believe that we lost at home to Sunshine Stars after all the effort we made,” Babaganaru told the club’s official website.
“I totally understand that in the game of football, there are three results but we didn’t deserve the result we got because it was not the true reflection of what transpired.
“We created many goal-scoring opportunities but how we didn’t bury those chances is what I don’t understand.”
The veteran coach will be leading Akwa United to face his former employer, Kano Pillars in their next fixture on Sunday in Katsina.
