“I know what I’m capable of” – Joe Aribo reveals target with Southampton

Nigerian midfielder, Joe Aribo has promised to show more of his talents and qualities in the English Premier League, EPL with Southampton. 

Aribo joined Southampton two seasons ago when they suffered relegation to the Championship following a dismal season. 

The Super Eagles’ anchorman was however instrumental to the club’s immediate return to the English top-flight last season.

Aribo who’s relishing a fresh start in the EPL has expressed his desire to prove more of his worth in the league. 

The 27-year-old hinted that the club’s relegation’s last season made him more determined to show he belongs in the top-flight.

“I want to mark my stamp as a Premier League footballer, that’s a dream of mine.

“I just want to be acknowledged or be known as a very good player really, nothing too crazy, but I know what I am capable of.

“I know what abilities I have and my purpose I believe is to showcase them for the world to see,” the Nigerian international was quoted by the club’s website.
