“I think it’s going to be a tough season” – Mikel predicts Chelsea final EPL position

Former captain of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, John Mikel Obi has predicted his former club, Chelsea would finish seventh at the end of this English Premier League, EPL season.
The Blues finished in sixth place under Mauricio Pochettino last term.
However, Pochettino has since been replaced by Enzo Maresca as the new owners have brought in a number of new players to make the club push for more success and glories this campaign.
However, Mikel who played for Chelsea for over a decade did not see his former team making any significant impact.
“I’ve always said I predict Chelsea to finish seventh in the Premier League this season because I just don’t see them winning that many games,” he told BeIN Sports.
“I think it’s going to be a tough season, and when the going gets tough, I want to see how Enzo Maresca is going to deal with it.
“I don’t think he’s been in that situation before, and that’s going to be tested.”
