Katsina United rally from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Plateau United

Katsina United fought back from a two-goal deficit to earn a 2-2 draw against Plateau United in a dramatic Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Plateau United moved ahead in the 30th minute when Umar Rabiu inadvertently turned the ball into his own net, giving the visitors a valuable advantage.

The visitors looked on course to claim all three points after Jibril Ibrahim extended their lead in the 82nd minute.

Katsina United responded almost immediately, with Yusha’u Armiya’u pulling a goal back two minutes later to set up a tense finish.

Rabiu then made amends for his earlier mistake in the third minute of added time, scoring in the 90+3rd minute to complete the hosts’ recovery and secure a share of the points.

The result ensured the teams finished level after a four-goal contest in which Katsina United overturned a 2-0 deficit to draw 2-2.
