Kayseri Kadın FK add three Nigerian players ahead of 2026-27 season

Kayseri Kadın FK have announced the signing of three Nigerian players from clubs in the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Premiership as the newly promoted Women’s Football Super League side continues preparations for the 2026-2027 campaign.

The Turkish club confirmed through its official channels that defenders Oluwabunmi Semilore Oladeji and Blessed Chizameze Isigbo, along with midfielder Cynthia Oriyomi Mega, will join the squad for the upcoming season.

The arrivals are intended to strengthen Kayseri’s options across defence and midfield as the club prepares for its first campaign after promotion to the Women’s Football Super League.

Oladeji, who was born in 2004 in Ikorodu, Lagos, moves to Turkey from Bayelsa Queens. The defender is expected to provide additional strength and positional awareness at the back, while also bringing experience to Kayseri’s defensive unit.

Her move represents the next stage of her career after featuring for one of the clubs competing in the NWFL Premiership. Kayseri will hope her qualities can help provide stability in a squad preparing for the demands of the new season.

Isigbo has also completed her move from Nigeria, joining from Remo Stars Ladies Football Club in Ikenne, Ogun State. Born on 16 May 2008, she is the youngest of the three players announced by Kayseri.

Despite her age, Isigbo has attracted attention for her determination and defensive ability. She will now begin a new chapter in Turkey as she looks to continue her development while competing for a place in Kayseri’s defence.

Mega, a 20-year-old midfielder born in Lagos State on 18 April 2006, also arrives from Remo Star Ladies.

She is expected to add energy, creativity and footballing vision to the centre of the pitch. Her arrival gives Kayseri another option in midfield as the club builds its squad for the 2026-2027 season.

The three Nigerians will now begin life in Turkey as Kayseri Kadın FK step up their preparations for the forthcoming campaign. Their recruitment from NWFL Premiership clubs adds further depth to a team preparing to compete in the Women’s Football Super League after earning promotion.

Kayseri have not provided further details about the length of the players’ contracts, but all three are set to feature for the club in the upcoming campaign.
