Ladan Bosso reflects on Bayelsa United’s dominant win over Niger Tornadoes

By Wale Mustapha

Bayelsa United’s Technical Adviser, Issa Ladan Bosso, expressed confidence in his team following their impressive 4-1 victory over Niger Tornadoes on Wednesday in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The match, which was part of Matchday 14, took place at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa.

Bosso, who was not surprised by the commanding win, believes that the performance was a testament to the team’s belief in their playing philosophy, crediting the Restoration Boys for their relentless effort and the clinical finishing that saw them convert their chances into goals.

“It’s a relief to see the team perform like this, but I’ve never doubted their potential,” Bosso said in a post-match interview. “They’ve been creating chances in every game, and this victory over Niger Tornadoes is just a reflection of their hard work. The quality we have is undeniable, and it’s satisfying to see the players finally finish those chances.”

While praising the team’s attacking display, Bosso also urged for consistency moving forward and called on fans to be patient as the squad continues to develop.

The Restoration Boys now look ahead to their next challenge, as they travel to Maiduguri to face Elkanemi Warriors in their next NPFL fixture on Sunday.
