Milan line up January move for Real Madrid forward Endrick

Milan are monitoring Endrick’s situation at Real Madrid and are preparing a fresh attempt to sign the Brazil forward in the January transfer window.
According to Calciomercato, Milan are hopeful of taking advantage of Endrick’s limited opportunities in Spain by offering him the regular playing time he has so far been unable to secure. The Italian club made an approach for the player during the summer, but Jose Mourinho halted negotiations and refused to sanction his departure.
Endrick’s lack of action has intensified questions about his future at Real Madrid. The 19-year-old has made five appearances this season, playing 111 minutes in total and starting only one match, according to the club’s official statistics.
His involvement was particularly restricted during the opening weeks of the campaign. He was given only a brief appearance against Elche before being handed a longer opportunity against Roma in the Champions League.
Endrick played 37 minutes in that match, scoring one goal and assisting another as Real Madrid won 4-3. His performance earned him the player of the match award, but it did not lead to a sustained run in the side.
Instead, he has continued to be used for short periods, raising concerns about whether he can develop properly without greater consistency on the pitch.
Mourinho stance
Mourinho has publicly insisted that he remains committed to Endrick and has rejected the idea that the forward should leave easily. He said interested clubs would have to wait, adding that Endrick was a player he liked greatly and believed possessed enormous potential.
The Real Madrid manager also said he did not think the player needed to leave on loan. However, Mourinho acknowledged that he had not been able to give Endrick the opportunities he wanted.
The Portuguese coach explained that a muscle injury had kept the forward out of the squad for more than a month. He added that the circumstances surrounding matches after Endrick’s return had not helped him regain regular involvement.
Milan owner Jerry Cardinale remains keen on completing the deal, with the club hoping its relationship with the player’s agency, Roc Nation, can help negotiations with Real Madrid.
Milan are not alone in their interest. Roma, Aston Villa and Arsenal are also understood to be considering a move for the Brazil international.
A switch to Milan could give Endrick the chance to recover a more prominent role and gain the minutes needed to continue his development, rather than remain limited to occasional appearances at Real Madrid.
The final decision will depend on Real Madrid’s position and whether Endrick decides he needs to seek a greater opportunity elsewhere.
