Paris 2024 Qualifier: Jean Baptiste Bisseck summons 25 local players for Nigeria showdown

Head coach of Cameroon’s senior women’s national team, Jean Baptiste Bisseck has invited 25 players to face their Nigerian counterparts in the women’s football qualifiers for the Paris 2024 Olympics this month.

Three goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders, and eight attackers made the roster dominated by players from the Cameroonian Guinness Women’s League.

Four players, Abumba Clarisse, Audrey Sabikiti, Mbomozomo Brigitte, and Beyina Daniella were placed on standby on the list.

Star player Ajara Ncjout among other are expected to make the final squad in coming days for the high-profile showdown.

The first leg of the two-legged encounter will take place in Douala Cameroon on February 23, 2024.

The return leg slated for Abuja, Nigeria’s capital will take place three days later.

The winner of the two-legged encounter will make it to the last round of the Olympic Qualifiers.
