Premier League all-time top scorers: Alan Shearer leads Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane

Alan Shearer remains the Premier League’s all-time leading scorer with 260 goals, while Harry Kane, Wayne Rooney and Mohamed Salah complete the leading group in a list featuring some of English football’s greatest forwards.

Shearer set the record during spells with Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United. His total has remained unmatched, making it one of the most difficult records to surpass in modern football.

Kane, formerly of Tottenham, is second on 213 goals, followed by Manchester United’s former “golden boy” Rooney on 208. Salah is fourth with 193 goals, a total he reached before leaving for the Turkish league.

The Egypt international scored 191 times for Liverpool and added two goals during his time with Chelsea. He is the leading non-English scorer in Premier League history.

Foreign goalscoring greats

Sergio Aguero, the Manchester City legend, is sixth overall with 184 goals. Thierry Henry, one of Arsenal’s greatest players, scored 175, while the leading 20 also include Robin van Persie, Nicolas Anelka and Raheem Sterling.
