Yetunde Adeboyejo opens account for Henan in six-goal thriller with Changchun

Nigeria midfielder, Yetunde Adeboyejo scored her first goal of the season for Chinese Women’s Super League side, Henan Songshan Leongmen during a 3-3 draw in the first match of the 2024 season.

Adeboyejo scored the first goal of the match in the 23rd minute.

Two minutes later, the visitors responded with the equaliser from Liu Jing.

Han Shuyu restored Henan’s lead in the 54th minute before Rhaizza Luiz equalised five minutes later.

In the 69th minute, Liu Yan gave Henan the lead for the third time only for Guo Nan to spoil the joy of the home fans with the equaliser in the 86th minute.

Henan Songshan Leongmen occupy the sixth position on the table with a point after the opening match of the league campaign.

They will hope to pick their first win away against holders, Wuhan Jiangda.

The game which is billed for March 30, 2024, is expected to be a tough one for Henan.
