Heartland FC aims for victory against Kano Pillars in NPFL showdown

By Wale Mustapha

Heartland FC is primed and ready to secure a positive result when they face Kano Pillars on Sunday in a highly anticipated Matchday 12 clash of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The Naze Millionaires will travel to Kano to take on the Pyramid Boys in what will be Kano Pillars’ first home game at the Sani Abacha Stadium this season. Previously, the former champions had played their home matches at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina.

Despite the change in venue, Heartland remains focused on their primary goal: securing all three points.

Heartland’s media officer, Tunde Liadi, expressed the team’s determination, stating on X (formerly Twitter), “Though the venue has been changed from Katsina to Kano, the objective still remains the same. It is to go all out for the three points on Sai Masu Gida territory.”

Heartland comes into the match in strong form, having won their last two NPFL fixtures. With confidence high and the team’s focus sharp, Heartland is determined to build on this momentum and continue their successful run in the league.

The fixture promises to be an exciting encounter as both teams look to make their mark in the race for NPFL supremacy.
