Sports commentator Emre Bol has openly criticized Galatasaray’s over-reliance on Victor Osimhen, praising the Nigerian striker for his efforts while slamming his teammates for their lack of urgency.
Speaking on the Ekol Sports YouTube channel, Bol expressed his frustration after Galatasaray’s recent disappointing result, highlighting that Osimhen has been the only player consistently making a difference for the team.
Since joining Galatasaray on loan from Napoli, Osimhen has been one of the most influential figures in the squad, contributing 22 goals and five assists in 28 appearances this season.
His tireless work ethic and ability to deliver in crucial moments have made him indispensable to the team.
However, Bol pointed out the stark contrast between Osimhen’s commitment and the apparent lack of effort from his teammates, especially as recent poor performances have threatened Galatasaray’s title hopes.
“For weeks, Victor Osimhen has been carrying Galatasaray. The others are not showing any effect,” Bol stated.
“Other players do not show half the fight of Osimhen, who is on loan. There is no running, no fighting, no head-butting of the kick.”
With Osimhen’s loan spell set to end, concerns are growing about how Galatasaray will cope without him if the rest of the squad does not improve.
