Orlando Pirates Football Club have announced that they have reached a mutual agreement with former Super Eagles defender Olisa Ndah to part ways.
The Nigerian international requested an early release from his contract, following thorough and respectful discussions with the club’s management. The talks centred on Ndah’s desire for regular playing time as he enters the next phase of his career.
Ndah, 28, joined the Buccaneers in 2021 and quickly established himself as a key figure in the club’s defence. Renowned for his strong tackling, assured ball control and unwavering commitment, he played an important role in strengthening the backline during a crucial period for the club.
During his time at Orlando Pirates, Ndah made over 80 appearances, consistently embodying the core values of the club. On the pitch, he was dependable and disciplined, while off it he displayed professionalism and represented the club’s badge with pride.
The club stated that it respects Ndah’s wish for more minutes on the field and appreciated his open and honest engagement with management throughout the process.
The decision to part ways was reached in a spirit of mutual respect, with Orlando Pirates thanking Ndah for his professionalism, dedication and service to the club.
