Kano Pillars FC have confirmed the departure of eight players following the expiration of their contracts at the end of the 2025/2026 football season.
The players who have left the club are Muhammad Galadima, Ugochukwu Gabriel, Zahraddeen Bello, Williams Ayuba, Bernard Ovoke, Christian Izuchukwu, Sudais Ali Baba, and Aliyu Yakubu.
In an official statement, the four-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions expressed gratitude to the departing players, praising their commitment, professionalism, and contributions during their time at the club.
The club acknowledged the roles each of the players played in representing Sai Masu Gida, thanking them for their service and dedication throughout their stay.
“Kano Pillars FC sincerely appreciates the commitment, professionalism, and contributions of the players during their time with the club,” the statement read.
The management further wished the players success in their future careers, noting that they will always remain part of the Kano Pillars family.
Club officials, technical staff, employees, and supporters also joined in expressing appreciation and best wishes to the departing squad members.
The announcement signals the beginning of expected squad restructuring as Kano Pillars prepare for the upcoming season.
