NFF Unveils Fixtures for 2026 President Federation Cup, Asaba to Host Final

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has released the fixtures for the men’s and women’s categories of the 2026 President Federation Cup following the official draw ceremony held at the NFF Secretariat in Abuja.

Speaking during the event, NFF General Secretary Dr. Mohammed Sanusi stated that this year’s draw followed the format used in previous editions, while emphasizing that no team received a bye into the next round, making the competition more straightforward.

Dr. Sanusi assured participating teams and stakeholders that the country’s oldest and most prestigious football competition would be conducted on a fair and transparent basis, with all regulations strictly observed throughout the tournament.

Defending champions Kwara United were seeded number one in the men’s draw, while last season’s runners-up Abakaliki FC were placed at number 64. The competition will continue to follow a straight knockout format.

The NFF also confirmed that Asaba, the Delta State capital, will host the grand finale of this year’s tournament.
