NFF SECRETARY GENERAL BAGS ROYAL EMIRATE TITLE

His Royal Highness, the Emir of Gwandu in Kebbi State, Main-Basic Muhammadu Ilyasu Bashar, CFR, mni, has appointed the Basic Secretary of Nigeria Soccer Federation, Dr Mohammed Sanusi because the Dan Bauran Gwandu, which implies the Title Holder of Gwandu – an emirate in Kebbi State.

In a letter addressed to Dr Sanusi and signed on the Emir’s behalf by Ibrahim Ahmad Gwandu (Secretary of Gwandu Emirate Council), Sanusi was counseled for his contributions and companies to the emirate and Nigeria at massive

“This honour is accorded to you in recognition and appreciation of your companies and contribution to the event of Gwandu Emirate, Kebbi State and the nation normally. The Emirate Council hopes to proceed to profit out of your wealth of expertise, foresight and knowledge. As a title holder, you’re required to actively take part in our actions. Equally, you’ll be invited every now and then by His Royal Highness the Emir of Gwandu for consultations as the necessity arises.”

Sanusi, who already holds the title of Danmasani Wajeke of Wammako city in Sokoto State, served as Director of Competitions of the Nigeria Soccer Federation earlier than he was appointed the Basic Secretary in March 2015.

He holds a doctorate diploma in sports activities administration from the Ahmadu Bello College, Zaria, and can be a FIFA and CAF Match Commissioner.
