Nduka Ugbade: Golden Eaglets coach makes his football wishes to Nigeria in 2023

Sports personalities have been making wishes for 2023 and Nigeria U17 head coach Nduka Ugbade has shared his sporting wishes for 2023 relating to Nigeria football.
The former Remo Stars coach also further wished for good synergy between Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the Sports Ministry as well as successful outings for various Nigeria teams.
“Honestly speaking, I desire great football and achievement administratively. I pray for more sponsorship for the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF),” Ugbade told Brila FM.
“For the Sports Ministry, I pray that everything works well for NFF and the Ministry to work together to achieve great things. With the NFF, I pray that all the football competitions that we will be going for this year to favour Nigeria so that the U-17 and U-20 teams will qualify for the World Cup from the Nations Cups.
“I wish the teams that will be representing Nigeria this year from the junior to senior level to do well. Most importantly, everything we lay out hands on in sports generally this year and years to come to be very good and successful. This will make Nigeria win a lot of laurels.”
Nigeria will be participating in different football tournaments this year from the U-17 and U-20 AFCON to continental engagements for Rivers United.
The biggest is Super Falcons taking part in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. The nine-time African champions will face Australia, Canada, and the Republic of Ireland in the group stage.
