Mohammed Alkali inaugurates electoral, appeal committee for Nasarawa FA elections

The chairman of Nasarawa State Football Association, Alhaji Mohammed Alkali has inaugurated the electoral and appeal committees ahead of the state FA elections.

Alhaji Alkali at the inauguration ceremony held at the football house in Lafia on Tuesday said the process was in compliance with the directive of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

The Appeal committee will be chaired by a distinguished legal luminary, Barrister Maji Dalhatu with members include Mr. Adamu Mohammed (Boss), Arc. Umar Shittu, Ibrahim Musa Andafu, Ja’afaru Bobori while the current Nasarawa State FA secretary, Abdulhamid Babarabi will serve as the committee’s secretary.

The FA Boss also inaugurated a four-man Appeal Committee with Barr. Madugu Mohammed as chairman, while

Mallam Abdulazeez Ibiwoye Alakija and Sallau Ado Tanimu are members of the committee and assistant FA secretary Blessing David will serve as the secretary.

Alhaji Alkali explained that the leadership and members of the committees are of reputable characters and personalities, assuring that they would be given the necessary support to succeed in their respective roles.

He also further revealed that the election procedures would be transparent and that credibility had been prioritized above all else in the organization of the upcoming elections.

“We have done our part, and we will wait for the election committee to draw out the guidelines for the upcoming elections,” he said. “Our goal is to move the state FA to the next level, and we are committed to achieving this.”
