Christantus Ugonna Uche: Getafe signs promising Nigeria midfielder

Spanish topflight side, Getafe have completed the signing of promising Nigeria star, Christantus Ugonna Uche from Ceuta Deportiva.

Uche will sign a two-year deal with Getafe upon his arrival at the Spanish club. The Nigeria midfielder joined Moralo in November 2022 and his fantastic performance caught the eyes of Ceuta who made an instant move for him.

The José Juan Romero tutored side ditched their earlier plan to see Uche join their youth ranks but the youngster incredible performance and technique made them push him to the first team where he didn’t disappoint.

The 20 year old player played 22 matches for Ceuta before his move to Getafe where he had other interests from Real Betis and other Spanish teams but they couldn’t reach agreement with his parent club.

With 34 points from 25 matches, Getafe are on the 10th position on the Spanish Laliga.
