Edo Queens Unveil Three New Signings Ahead of WAFU-B Champions League Qualifiers

Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership champions, Edo Queens, have strengthened their squad with the signing of three new players ahead of their WAFU-B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers in Burkina Faso.

The Benin-based champions announced the arrival of Kemi Adegbuyi, Dooshima Tarnum, and Vera Samuel, as they intensify preparations for their continental campaign.

Adegbuyi joins Edo Queens from FC Robo Queens following an impressive season in which she was named the Most Valuable Player of the NWFL Premiership.

Tarnum and Samuel, meanwhile, make the switch from Bayelsa Queens, who finished as league runners-up last season.

The new additions are expected to add quality and depth to the Edo Queens squad as the champions target a strong showing in the WAFU-B qualifiers.

Edo Queens became the second Nigerian club, after Bayelsa Queens, to qualify for the continental stage twice, and the club is now focused on building a squad capable of competing at the highest level.
