Nigerian forward Emem Eduok showcased his scoring prowess as he put an end to his goal drought, finding the back of the net for Kasimpasa during their encounter with Bursaspor on Saturday. The match concluded in a 2-2 draw, marking Eduok’s second goal in the Turkish top-flight league this season.
Eduok’s last league goal for Kasimpasa came on matchday 1 of the current season in August when they secured a 3-1 victory over Alanyaspor. In the recent clash against Bursaspor, Eduok opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, with Bernard Mensah adding another four minutes later.
However, Bursaspor mounted a late comeback, with goals from Ertugrul Ersoy and Aziz Behich, securing a draw against a 10-man Kasimpasa. Eduok, who made his 10th league appearance for Kasimpasa, was replaced by Hasan Bilal in the 86th minute.
On the opposing side, Nigerian defender Kenneth Omeruo completed the full 90 minutes for Bursaspor, making his eighth appearance of the season. William Troost Ekong, another Nigerian international, also played the entire match for Bursaspor, marking his 12th game of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Mikel Agu featured for Bursaspor in the first half but was replaced at halftime by Cristóbal Jorquera. Agu, who has made 12 appearances this season, scoring two goals, has been a notable contributor to Bursaspor’s campaign. The match showcased the resilience and competitive spirit of both teams in the Turkish top-flight league.
