Gbenga Ogunbote calls for fair officiating as Remo Stars and Shooting Stars clash

Shooting Stars’ coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, has called for fair officiating ahead of his team’s crucial Matchday 14 encounter against Remo Stars on Wednesday in Ikenne.

Ogunbote, known as “The Oracle,” will be leading the Oluyole Warriors to face his former team, Remo Stars, in what promises to be a thrilling clash.

The match will see two teams in contrasting form, as Remo Stars are unbeaten in their last two games, having drawn 1-1 at home against Rivers United and suffered a disappointing 2-0 loss to Katsina United last weekend.

In contrast, Shooting Stars are coming off a hard-fought 1-0 win over Bayelsa United at home.

Despite his team’s recent form, Ogunbote remains optimistic about their chances in Ikenne, stressing that fair officiating will be key to securing a positive result.

“We are confident, we will play our game and hope to get the desired result. All we ask for is a level playing ground,” Ogunbote told Shooting Stars’ media.

As both teams aim for important points in the highly competitive NPFL season, Ogunbote’s call for fair play highlights the significance of officiating in ensuring a just outcome. The fixture is expected to be an exciting battle of stars.
