Gbolagade marks 100th 3SC league appearance with victory over Ranchers Bees

Adelowo Gbolagade celebrated reaching 100 league appearances for Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan as the Oluyole Warriors ended their difficult run with a 3-1 victory over Ranchers Bees.

The defender or midfielder reached the landmark during 3SC’s home fixture against Ranchers Bees on Friday, a week nine match in the NPFL.

The result was particularly significant for the Ibadan club, who had gone five consecutive league matches without a win before returning to winning ways.

Gbolagade reflected on the achievement in a post on his official X handle, giving thanks to God for his career with the club.

“All glory and honour belong to God Almighty for the journey so far. 🙏❤️,” he wrote.

“From the beginning until this milestone, His grace has been sufficient. I’m grateful for the opportunity to wear this badge, represent this great club.”

The victory lifted 3SC to 12th place in the league table, with the team now on 11 points after nine matches.
