Iheanacho scores again to reach 13 goals in 10 matches this season

Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho scored against Mardin 1969 Spor to extend his remarkable run to 13 goals in 10 matches this season.

Sports247 reports that the Nigeria international has found the net in every game he has played during the campaign, underlining his consistency and confidence in front of goal.

The latest effort adds to an outstanding individual spell for Iheanacho, whose movement and finishing have made him a regular threat in the final third. His return is particularly notable for the former Manchester City and Leicester City attacker, who has produced a series of memorable moments during his professional career.

Iheanacho has combined intelligent positioning with clinical finishing throughout the run, allowing him to deliver consistently against opposition defenders. The sequence of goals points to one of the most productive periods of his career and suggests his confidence is increasing with every appearance.

His influence has also extended beyond club football. During the recent international break, Iheanacho scored in Nigeria’s dramatic 3-3 friendly draw against Russia.

That goal offered another example of his ability to affect important moments and showed that his current scoring form has not been restricted to his club commitments.

For Nigeria, Iheanacho’s performances provide an encouraging development as the Super Eagles prepare for their upcoming international assignments. His experience, attacking intelligence and ability to turn chances into goals remain important qualities for the national side.

Competition for attacking places in the Nigeria squad is strong, but continuing this run could improve Iheanacho’s prospects of securing a prominent role in the team’s forward plans.

The length of the streak remains uncertain, although his performances have already established him as one of the standout Nigerian forwards of the current campaign. The next challenge for Iheanacho will be to maintain that momentum and keep scoring as the season progresses.

With 13 goals in 10 matches, a goal in every appearance and an additional international strike against Russia, Iheanacho is enjoying an exceptional run of form.
