Jamilu Yusuf joins Rancher’s Bees in Nigeria NPFL move
Nigeria centre-forward Jamilu Yusuf has joined Rancher’s Bees from Katsina United, completing a move within the Nigeria Premier Football League at the age of 17.
Yusuf’s transfer was completed on 25 August 2026, with Rancher’s Bees becoming his new club for the 2026-27 season. The move keeps the teenager in the NPFL, where he has already recorded senior league experience despite his age.
The forward was born on 18 March 2009 and is listed as a centre-forward. His arrival gives Rancher’s Bees a teenage attacking option with a record of regular involvement in domestic football. Yusuf made 27 NPFL appearances before switching clubs, scoring seven goals and providing two assists.
He played 1,991 minutes in those league appearances, averaging a goal every 284 minutes. Those figures represent his recorded senior contribution in the competition and provide the main statistical background to his move from Katsina United.
Yusuf’s transfer is also a change of club without a move away from Nigeria’s top-flight league. Katsina United and Rancher’s Bees both compete in the NPFL, allowing the player to remain in the same domestic competition while taking on a new club setting.
Rancher’s Bees are listed as Yusuf’s current club after the transfer, while his recorded market value stands at €75,000. The move was registered on 25 August and forms part of the club’s squad for the new campaign.
At 17, Yusuf is among the youngest players represented in the transfer record, but his previous NPFL involvement includes a substantial number of appearances and more than 2,000 minutes of recorded league action when rounded to the nearest thousand. His output of seven goals and two assists came before the move to Rancher’s Bees.
The transfer links Yusuf’s established league experience with a new chapter at another NPFL club. He has now left Katsina United and joined Rancher’s Bees ahead of the 2026-27 season.
