Juventus coach Allegri takes a dig at Ronaldo for selfishness?

Cristiano Ronaldo seems to have irritated so many figures in Italy. Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is the latest to aim a shot at the Portuguese maestro.

We all know Ronaldo’s passion to be successful and to score is enormous, but this can sometimes annoy some people who feel he should put the team first.

After 13 wins from 26 games to put Juve in fourth place, Allegri has appreciated his team’s progress compared to last season.

The Italian said the team is now less focused on individual achievements, which is a strong suggestion he is taking a dig at Ronaldo.

“I think that personal targets have been put aside and there is more focus on the team,” Allegri said, as per Metro.

“We have been together for six or seven months now. We are knowing each other a little more, we feel more like a team.”

Meanwhile, Allegri is now preparing the side for the UEFA Champions League last 16 clash against Villarreal on Tuesday night.
