Kafayat Shittu’s brilliant display seal draw for Giresun Sanayispor against Dudullu

Nigerian midfielder, Kafayat Folakemi Shittu, delivered a stellar performance as Giresun Sanayispor battled to a 1-1 draw against Dudullu in the Turkish Women’s Football First League Play-off on Saturday.

Playing with just 10 women for the entire match, Giresun Sanayispor showed incredible resilience to come from behind and earn a crucial point.

Shittu, who has been consistently recognized with Woman of the Match awards this season, credited her teammates for their dedication and focus.

“We didn’t expect the result, but we have to accept it and focus on the next game,” Shittu said after the match.

The draw keeps Giresun Sanayispor at the top of the league with 25 points.

As they look ahead to their next match against Yuksekova next weekend, Kafayat’s form stressed the importance of staying focused and maintaining the determination needed for their promotion push.
