Karim Adeyemi supports grassroots football with return to Ibadan

German forward, Karim Adeyemi and his father visited the Olubadan Stadium in Ibadan to support grassroots football.
The 22-year-old through his foundation, hosted the U-15 Adeyemi Football Championship, providing a platform for young talents to showcase their skills.
Although he represents Germany at the international level, the homecoming marks a special moment for Adeyemi, who has been making waves in the football world with his impressive skills.
The former Salzburg player is in his third season with German Bundesliga side Dortmund, with two goals and three assists in seven league games.
He also played for Liefering and his current contract with Dortmund runs till 2027.
Adeyemi is amongst players of Nigerian descent with international allegiance to European countries.
Others are Bukayo Saka (England), Tammy Abraham (England), and David Alaba (Austria), to mention a few.
Ademola Lookman, who was born and raised in England, decided to switch nationality to Nigeria.
The decision paid off as he recently won the Africa Player of the Year award.
