KFUM-Kameratene sign Nigerian teenager Samuel Tochukwu on contract until 2030
Norwegian Eliteserien club KFUM-Kameratene have completed the signing of 19-year-old Nigerian midfielder Samuel Tochukwu from a highly regarded academy in Abuja.
The club confirmed the move in a statement published on its official website, announcing that Tochukwu has agreed a long-term contract running until 2030.
The deal marks a significant step in the teenager’s career as he begins his move into European football. Tochukwu impressed KFUM-Kameratene during a trial and did enough to persuade the club to offer him a permanent contract.
His performances during that period gave the Norwegian side confidence in his ability and potential. After securing the deal, Tochukwu is now set to continue his development in Norway while gaining experience in a European league.
The length of the contract underlines KFUM-Kameratene’s belief that the midfielder can make further progress at the club. At 19, Tochukwu will have the opportunity to adapt to a new footballing environment and work towards establishing himself in Norwegian football.
The transfer also provides a platform for the Nigerian midfielder to build on the encouraging impression he made during his trial. He will now begin the next phase of his career with KFUM-Kameratene, having moved from his academy in Abuja to a club competing in the Eliteserien.
Tochukwu will be expected to use the opportunity to develop further and demonstrate his qualities as he settles into life in Norway. The agreement through to 2030 gives him a long-term pathway at KFUM-Kameratene and reflects the club’s commitment to his continued progression.
For the teenager, the move represents the first major stage of his European football journey. He now has the chance to turn a successful trial into a sustained career in Norway and establish himself at his new club.
