Nigerian-born Lola Ogunbote joins Chelsea FC Women

Nigerian-born football executive Lola Ogunbote has officially joined Chelsea FC Women as the club’s new Head of Football Operations & Player Services.

Ogunbote confirmed the move after quietly taking up the role over the summer following an impressive five-year spell as Head of Women’s Football at Burnley.

Her appointment marks another significant step in her growing career within women’s football, having played a key role in the development and administration of the women’s game during her time at Burnley.

Ogunbote is expected to bring her wealth of experience in football operations and player development to Chelsea Women as the club continues to strengthen its football structure.
