The Matchday two fixture of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) between El-Kanemi Warriors and Kwara United F.C. has been postponed due to the severe flooding in Borno State.
Originally scheduled for Sunday, September 15, 2024, the game will be rescheduled to a later date.
In their previous outings, El-Kanemi Warriors started their campaign with a solid 0-0 draw against the reigning champions, Rangers International FC, demonstrating a strong defensive performance.
In contrast, Kwara United faced a setback, falling 2-1 to Niger Tornadoes in Ilorin. Despite Sadeeq Yusuf’s goal providing a glimmer of hope, goals from Joseph Godstime and Ibrahim Sabiu sealed the victory for Niger Tornadoes.
With this postponement, both teams will be eager to bounce back and secure their first win of the season in their respective Matchday three fixtures.
