Rumour Mills: Serie A expert dismisses Ademola Lookman’s potential move to Napoli

Veteran Serie A expert Enrico Fedele has ruled out the possibility of Nigerian striker Ademola Lookman joining Napoli from Atalanta in the summer.

Lookman, who has been in strong form for Atalanta, has attracted attention from several top clubs, including Liverpool, Arsenal, and PSG.

However, Fedele, a former general manager of Parma, believes a move to Serie A rivals Napoli is highly unlikely.

“There is no chance that Lookman will join Napoli. I don’t understand why these rumours are being spread,” Fedele said.

“I’ve been in football for nearly 50 years and have built many relationships. From what I know, Napoli’s Sporting Director Giovanni Manna is focused on another player: Solet. Trust me, he is a very strong player.”

Fedele’s comments add further clarity to the speculation surrounding Lookman’s future, with Napoli seemingly focused on other targets as the summer transfer window approaches.
