Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) have confirmed that winger Ayodele Ismail has returned to the team after a period of unexplained absence.
The Ibadan-based side had previously expressed concern over the player’s whereabouts, issuing an official statement after Ismail failed to report to camp as preparations for the new season intensified.
The matter has now been resolved, with the winger rejoining the squad on Monday.
Ismail wasted no time in returning to action, taking part in the team’s training session in Ibadan as Shooting Stars continued their pre-season preparations.
His return provides a timely boost for the Oluyole Warriors as they step up preparations for the 2026/27 NPFL season, with the club aiming to build momentum ahead of the new campaign.
