Sunday Oliseh drops shocking Premier League prediction

Sunday Oliseh has lauded Aston Villa for their impressive summer signings and predicted a successful season ahead.

The former Super Eagles coach is particularly enthusiastic about the acquisition of Amadou Onana from Everton, highlighting it as a potential game-changer for the club.

Following a standout 2023/24 Premier League season, Aston Villa has bolstered their squad significantly. They have added Ian Maatsen and Ross Barkley, both former Chelsea players, and also secured Cameron Archer, Jaden Philogene, Lewis Dobbin, Enzo Barrenechea, and Samuel Illing-Junior.

The English club is rumored to be interested in Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho, further strengthening their squad.

Reacting to Onana’s move to Villa Park, Oliseh expressed confidence in the team’s prospects. “This transfer deal [Amadou Onana] has the potential to take Unai Emery’s Aston Villa to a totally different level. Be smart; don’t you dare bet against Villa this season,” Oliseh posted on X.

Aston Villa, under Unai Emery, will also be competing in the Champions League this season for the first time since the 1982/83 campaign.
