Sylvester Jasper: Bulgaria-Nigeria Winger Linked with Zulte Waregem Move from Serbia’s Zeleznicar Pancevo

Sylvester Jasper, the Bulgaria-Nigeria winger currently at FK Zeleznicar Pancevo, is being linked with a move to Belgian side Zulte Waregem in the Jupiler Pro League. The 24-year-old left winger only joined the Serbian SuperLiga club this summer but is already attracting interest after making an early impact.

Jasper, who prefers to operate off the left and cut inside onto his right foot, has started the 2026–27 SuperLiga campaign by coming off the bench and registering an assist in his first appearance, being directly involved in half of Zeleznicar’s goals so far. His market value is currently listed at €1.8 million, a figure that is likely to frame any negotiations between the clubs.

Zeleznicar signed Jasper from Polish side Slask Wroclaw on 3 July 2025, with the winger arriving on a deal that runs until 30 June 2027. Any transfer to Belgium would therefore require Zulte Waregem to strike an agreement with the Serbian club rather than pursue a free move.

Born in London on 13 September 2001, Jasper came through the Fulham system, progressing from youth level to the Under-23s before spells in Portugal with Portimonense and in Poland with Slask Wroclaw. His recent move to Serbia has been viewed as an opportunity to secure regular senior football in a top-flight European league.

For now, Jasper remains under contract at Zeleznicar Pancevo until 2027, with his situation closely watched as Zulte Waregem consider whether to firm up their interest in the coming windows.
