Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur is set to raid West Bromwich Albion for keeper Sam Johnstone.
Johnstone has always been a consistent figure under Gareth Southgate in England and with the World Cup coming in the summer, he wants to be in a Premier League team to boost his chances of making it to Qatar.
According to journalist Pete O’Rourke, Spurs manager Antonio Conte is hoping to add a backup keeper to his squad in the upcoming window and he is interested in signing the Man United academy graduate.
?Sam Johnstone has told friends he wants to join Tottenham Hotspur ahead of this summer window.
?He is very keen to join an ambitious Premier League club and believes he could eventually take over from Hugo Lloris.

The Telegraph further reports, that an understudy for Hugo Lloris is one of six positions that Conte wants to strengthen this summer, the others being center-back, right wing-back, central midfield, and upfront.
Johnston will be available for nothing once his Baggies contract runs out at the end of the season. The keeper was dropped from the squad earlier this month by manager Steve Brice following constant uncertainty over his future.
