Tottenham sign Nigerian-Finnish defender Adedeji from Leicester to bolster academy

Tottenham Hotspur have moved to reinforce their defensive prospects with the capture of highly rated Nigerian-Finnish centre-back Maxwell Adedeji from Leicester City.

The 18-year-old, a left-footed central defender, has already pulled on a Spurs shirt, featuring in the second half of the club’s Under-21 pre-season friendly against Ebbsfleet United at the weekend.
