Kebbi BSC get opponents for 2024 World Winners Cup

Three-time Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) champions Kebbi BSC are set to compete in the 2024 World Winners Cup.

The top-ranked beach soccer club from Nigeria has been drawn into Group C for the tournament.

In the group stage, Kebbi BSC will face off against Real Munster from Germany, Copenhagen BSC from Denmark, and Al-Taawoun Club from Saudi Arabia.

This marks the third appearance for Kebbi BSC in the World Winners Cup. Their debut in 2019 in Turkey saw them exit at the group stage.

However, they achieved their best result in 2023 in Alghero, Italy, where they reached the Round of 16.

Under the guidance of coach Samaila Bashar, Kebbi BSC remains the only African team competing in the 2024 World Winners Cup.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from September 17 to 22 at Lungomare San Giovanni in Alghero, Italy.
