NPFL: Duke Osimaga confident of Rivers United’s title chances

Rivers United midfielder Duke Osimaga has expressed strong belief that his team will clinch the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title.
The Pride of Port Harcourt is off to a blazing start this season, remaining unbeaten in their first eight matches.
Following a narrow 1-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes, which solidified their position at the top of the table, Osimaga emphasized the team’s ambition and determination.
“I know, by the special grace of God, we are going to win the league because the tactics we are using in our home and away games are quite different,” he told media.
He highlighted the players’ readiness and commitment, noting, “We have to do our best, and the management is doing everything possible to help us reach the top.
“We’re following the coach’s instructions closely, and I truly believe the title is coming to Rivers State.”
Looking ahead, Rivers United will face Elkanemi Warriors in Matchday Nine on Sunday, as they continue their pursuit of the championship.
