By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Senegalese referee Issa Sy to officiate the CAF Champions League matchday two encounter between Rivers United and Moroccan giants RS Berkane.

Sy will be supported by an all-Senegalese crew, with Djibril Camara serving as Assistant Referee 1 and Nouha Bangoura as Assistant Referee 2.
El Hadji Amadou Sy has been designated as the fourth official for the Group A clash.

Gambian referee Bakary K. Jammeh will serve as the match assessor.

The fixture is scheduled for Friday, November 28, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

Rivers United will be keen to bounce back after suffering a 3-0 defeat to defending champions Pyramids FC in their opening group match last weekend.
Similarly, Zambian side Power Dynamos were beaten 3-0 by RS Berkane, the three-time CAF Confederation Cup champions, setting the tone for a competitive battle in Group A.
