Tolu Arokodare scores again as Ajax ease past Telstar

Arokodare completed the scoring sequence on the hour mark, adding Ajax’s third goal and continuing his impressive run in front of goal. Marcos Leonardo finished the contest as a one-sided affair when he scored the fourth with 12 minutes remaining.

For Arokodare, the performance represents another positive step after a difficult period in England. The Super Eagles forward has looked revitalised since moving to the Eredivisie, while also making an impact in European competition.

His quick adjustment to life at Ajax and his regular involvement in goals have already made him an important part of the club’s early-season form. The loan move is increasingly appearing to be a beneficial decision for both the player and Ajax.
