Genoa linked with Dutch-Nigerian right-back Kingsley Ehizibue
Dutch-Nigerian right-back Kingsley Ehizibue, currently without a club, has been linked with a move to Genoa in Serie A.
The 31-year-old left Udinese on 1 July 2026 after almost four years with the Italian club. He joined Udinese from Bundesliga side 1. FC Koln in August 2022 in a deal worth €1.5m.
Ehizibue has extensive experience in Italy’s top flight, having made 115 Serie A appearances and recorded four goals and two assists. He also played 69 Bundesliga matches during his time in Germany.
Genoa’s interest would offer Ehizibue a route back into Serie A after his departure from Udinese. The defender began his senior career with PEC Zwolle, making 122 Eredivisie appearances and contributing eight goals and 15 assists before moving to Koln in 2019.
Born in Munich, Ehizibue has represented both the Netherlands and Nigeria on his nationality record. He is listed at 1.89m and is naturally right-footed.
Ehizibue’s current market value is €2m, while his latest recorded club status is without a club. The reported interest from Genoa remains unconfirmed.
