Alex Iwobi: Nigerian forward’s injury troubles former Everton star

Alan Stubb has expressed worries over the injury of Alex Iwobi against Manchester United in the English FA Cup.
Iwobi sustained the injury in the Everton’s loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford and this is major blow to the survival chance of Everton in the England Premier League.
Iwobi left the pitch on crutches after being harshly tackled by Tyrell Malacia and later underwent scans which confirmed he would be out for at least three weeks.
Speaking to BBC Radio Merseyside, former captain of Everton, Alan Stubb believes Iwobi could be sidelined for many weeks.
“Alex Iwobi has just gone over his ankle and the ankle has gone inside,” Stubb said on BBC radio Merseyside.
“I’m hoping he hasn’t done his ankle ligament because it’s looking like that, The momentum of the challenge from Malacia has rocked his ankle.
“It will either be one where he has jarred it and is fine to carry on or he won’t be able to continue and could be out for a few weeks.”
