Kwara United line up test matches ahead of NPFL resumption

Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side, Kwara United will be intensifying their preparation for the resumption of second round of the league with series of friendly matches.
Technical Adviser of the club, Kabir Dogo confirmed on Tuesday that the tune up games were arranged in a bid to identify some grey areas and also give the technical crew an opportunity of improve upon for the second round.
Dogo had joined the Harmony Boys early February and is racing against time to blend the newly signed players following the arrival of five new men.
The team will square up against Gaa Akanbi Football Club on Thursday, beginning from 2.00pm, at the Kwara Football Academy, and also play against Offa FC on Friday, beginning from 3.00pm, at the same venue.
Coach Dogo, admits the mentality of the team is changing gradually, stressing that more emphasis would be paid to discipline and dedication of the players, pointing out that all the players must justify their inclusion in the team.
The team will also be expected to play more friendly matches ahead of its first match in the State Federation Cup competition which began yesterday in Ilorin.
Kwara United’s first match in the second round of the league will be against El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri at their newly adopted home ground in Akure.
