Odion Ighalo scores and provides assist in Al Hilal victory over Al Ettifaq

Nigerian star Odion Ighalo scored and provided an assist to help Al Hilal secure a 3-0 win against Al Ettifaq in a Saudi Pro-league game on Saturday.

Ighalo opened the scoring for the home team finishing from a Saud Abdulhamid pass in the 15th minute.

The Nigeria international then set up Mohammed Kanno who finished brilliantly to make it two in the 34th minute.

Salem Al-Dawsari capped off the scoring in the 90th minute of the game, as the hosts strolled to a 3-0 lead.

Ighalo has now scored for a third consecutive game and his 12th league goal for the season as Al Hilal push to retain the league diadem they won last season.

The defending champions are fourth on the table, having played two fewer games than their major rivals.

Ighalo has scored 21 goals in 27 games across all competitions this season. It was also his fourth goal in three games.
