Super Lig: Paul Onuachu maintains scoring form as Trabzonspor extend winning run

Nigerian striker, Paul Onuachu continues his bright start to life with Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig as registered his second league goal in their 2-1 win over Pendikspor on Saturday.

The Super Eagles’ forward looked to have find his scoring boot again since his loan arrival from Southampton.

He has previously scored in his first full start last weekend and added another in the cup game.

His perfect finish gave Trabzonspor the lead inside opening third minute of the match following a through pass from Anastasios Bakasetas.

The hosts make it two before half hour mark as Bakasetas scored from rebound putting them in full control.

However, Pendikspor halved the deficit before half time with Endri Cenciki capitalizing on a defensive let off.

Trabzonspor would have labour through the closing moments of second half as they reduced to 10-man after Batista Mendy got his marching order following a second bookable offense.

Despite the late surge from Pendikapor to find the equalizer, the hosts held on to record the win that has lift Trabzonspor to third on the log.
